TODAY you are CALLED to be HOLY

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and peace.” When you accept Jesus as your savior, you are brought into a Holy inheritance. YOU are made Holy. I don’t know about you, but “Holy” isn’t the first word that comes to mind when someone asks me to describe myself! LOL. Merriam Webster defines the word “holy” as being “devoted entirely to the deity or the work of the deity” I love this! Because God DOES call us to keep our focus on Him, and to do ALL things in the name of His Son Jesus. He DOESN’T ask us to walk around trying to be perfect—INSTEAD He, knowing our weakness, asks us to come to Him CONSTANTLY—moment by moment—in prayer to ask for His HELP. Help to remember we all (as believers) have a happy ending in Heaven. Help to put others before ourselves when it’s most difficult. Help to let go of our pride and seek HIS glory rather than our own. TODAY, you can do this! You are called and invited to live a Holy life. Take advantage of it! Xx #haplous #holy
