Understand who You're REALLY up against

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. "--Ephesians 6:12  The best trick the devil ever played is getting us to believe he doesn't exist. If he doesn't exist, then we can can justify the struggles that happen to us as just "part of life."  IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY. When Jesus died for us, He gave us the ability to receive strength from HIM. He offers it freely, but it's up to US to accept it.  How do we accept it? Willing Submission. Offering our situations up to God for HIM to guide us. Praying SPECIFICALLY about the things we KNOW we are tempted by. PAUSING before we REACT, and asking Jesus to give us the strength we do NOT have to resist on our own.  Understand WHO you're really up against.
