" But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” When someone insults you or offends you, use it as an OPPORTUNITY to PRAY for them. And then actually THANK God for their insults—because if you're honest with yourself-- would you have thought to pray for that person had they not hurt or offended you?
Probably not.
Our prayers are powerful. Take advantage of the opportunities God gives you to love and pray for others, ESPECIALLY when they hurt you. We all fall short of the glory of God. Be grateful for the people God has placed in your life to pray for you and consider those who might not have many people praying for them.
YOU could make one small spiritual change in their heart, through prayer, that could catapult them into salvation.
I was struggling today when I came across this blog. Thank you for the insight. My heart is not as heavy as it was before.
